Susan & Jared’s Breckenridge engagement photos at Sapphire Point in Breckenridge, Colorado

We had the best time ever during Susan & Jared’s Breckenridge engagement photos! The original plan was to meet at Beaver Creek Mountain where they were staying (and where I live!). But, a massive snowstorm that was supposed to be the biggest of the year was coming to Colorado. So, with the big storm coming, we pivoted our plans to meet the day before when they got into town. On the day of their session, with the traffic they hit coming into the mountains and the pre-storm snow melting in the Beaver Creek area, we decided to meet in Breckenridge at Sapphire Point to get those winter wonderland vibes they were hoping for. Everything worked out even better than planned! It’s always great to have backup plans when you’re visiting the mountains of Colorado during winter months!

We popped champagne, ran around in the snow, and watched the sun dip over the mountains. Engagement sessions in Breckenridge are always my favorite and these two made it all the more fun! After their session, they headed over to Dillon Dam Brewery for a brew and a bite to eat – a local favorite! Then they had a weekend of shredding snowboards on the mountain.

I’m so happy they decided to add engagement photos to their list of adventures for their weekend in the mountains of Colorado!

Words from the Couple

“I absolutely loved working with Alex! She made the photo shoot so fun!! Alex went out of her way to work with our busy travel schedule and around a storm to make sure we got the best possible photos. The photos turned out STUNNING and I can’t wait to use them for our wedding announcements. Alex is a trooper and knows the best photo spots. She made the entire experience more than just photos – my fiancé and I have a new experience to remember and cherish! I hope to use her in the future and would recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent and friendly photographer!”
